Two people were shot in the 4900 block of West Tennessee Avenue late Saturday, and police said they were looking for a silver truck in the area.
Denver police said the shooting occurred at 9:23 p.m. at 4921 W. Tennessee Ave. Witnesses said they heard dozens of shots near South Sheridan Boulevard and West Mississippi Avenue.
Officers couldn’t say whether the two people who were shot — one in the chest, one in the foot — were injured indoors or outdoors, or whether the incident was gang-related.
Both were transported to Denver Health Medical Center.
