Fort Collins police will release the names of the people ticketed or arrested during the Old Town riots tomorrow afternoon.
At least five have been cited for disorderly conduct during the melee early Sunday morning. Several people were hurt, although there were no reports of serious injury.
Fighting broke out at the intersection of North College and Mountain avenues around 1:48 a.m., as bars closed their doors after the end of Saturday night performances at Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest. A window to one business was broken out during the riot and a vendor’s tent was burned.
Police are examining video tapes of the riot and then consulting prosecutors to see if charges are warranted, Fort Collins police spokeswoman Rita Davis said.
“It’s a long process and it is likely to extend for several more weeks,” she said.
Police will also note if the suspects named tomorrow are Colorado State University students, she said.
