Bob Dylan, who has been painting since the 1960s (he created the cover of the Band’s Music From Big Pink) will have new paintings and drawings on display at Denmark’s Statens Museum for Kunst. The show runs Sept. 4 through Jan. 30, Rolling Stone reports.
“It was an honor to be asked and a thrilling challenge,” Dylan said in a statement about the collection, called “Brazil Series,” which he created exclusively for the museum.
“I chose Brazil as a subject because I have been there many times and I like the atmosphere.” Inspired by early 20th century American realism and painters like Matisse, Dylan depicts politicians, gamblers, wine growers, and other denizens of Brazil.
The exhibit will feature 40 acrylic paintings and eight drawings.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox ordered the “Mean Girls” star to undergo psychotherapy and addiction counseling sessions several times a week until November.

Fox’s order will also require Lohan to live in Los Angeles.
The judge on Wednesday did give Lohan some incentives and rewards. He dismissed two drug counts that the actress had pleaded guilty to in 2007. He also said she will remain on supervised probation only until November unless she makes a mistake.

Cincinnati Bengals star Chad Ochocinco won’t just be playing football in September — he’ll spend several weeks shooting scenes for the VH1 reality show “Basketball Wives,” according to TMZ.
Chad is set to appear on the show next season as the love interest of his girlfriend Evelyn Lozada.
Chad has inked a deal to shoot several scenes between September and October and the shoots will be scheduled around his football obligations, the website reports.
Some of Chad’s scenes will take place in Miami, where the show is based, whenever he can spare the time. However, TMZ says VH1 wants Ochocinco material so badly they’re willing to shoot scenes out in Cincinnati too.
