FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Police in Fort Collins say seven people have been cited in a weekend riot estimated to have caused $12,000 in damage.
Police also said Thursday that charges are still pending against nine other people. Investigators also working to identify at least six others suspected of participating in the riot.
All but one of the seven cited so far are men in their 20s, including one Colorado State University student.
The riot broke out early Sunday when police say a crowd of about 400 people threw bottles at officers, damaged cars and set fires in downtown Fort Collins.
It started several hours after the end of an Earth, Wind & Fire concert when a fight between two men in a bar spilled outside.
