Four Denver police officers were cleared of any wrongdoing in the Aug. 1 shooting death of Alfred Raymond Vigil, the Denver district attorney’s office said Thursday.
The officers — Dustin Duff, Sean Cronin, Rick Guzman and Ryan Taylor — shot Vigil when he raised what was later found to be a pellet gun at them at the Trump Plaza Apartments at 4950 Morrison Road.
According to the report, Vigil called 911 and said he intended to commit “suicide by cop.”
