New-parents-to-be Kelly Preston and husband John Travolta are expecting a boy.
The couple, who announced in May that they were expecting, are having a son, according to People.
Earlier this month, the expecting parents were reportedly joined by 40 close friends to celebrate the joyous news at a baby shower held at their Los Angeles home.
Shower co-host Keisha Whitaker, wife of actor Forrest Whitaker, told the mag that the bird’s nest-themed event “was a wonderful day.”
The fete marks another poignant occasion for the pair, who lost their 16-year-old son Jett after he suffered a fatal seizure in 2009.
Preston, 47, and Travolta, 56, are also parents to 10-year-old daughter Ella Bleu.

And she has written an autobiography – but no publisher has expressed an interest in buying it.
‘She has been talking with publishers, but is not nearing a deal,’ a source told RadarOnline.
