Seven people — including one Colorado State University student — have been cited by Fort Collins police for the melee early Sunday morning near Old Town Fort Collins.

No one was seriously injured in the riot, which involved police using tear gas and pepper-spray pellets to disperse the crowd. The fracas caused an estimated $12,000 in property damage.

Police on Thursday released the names of those cited along with their hometowns and the charges they face. Police spokeswoman Rita Davis said charges are pending against nine others suspected of participating.

Police are also working to identify at least six other participants.

Those charged so far:

• Michael Ray Harrison, 28, Fort Collins, charged with resisting arrest (Class 2 misdemeanor) and disorderly conduct (petty offense);

• Jeffery Lane Cooper, 45, Fort Collins, charged with disorderly conduct;

• Lucas Matthew Crider, 21, Eaton, charged with trespass (petty offense) and disorderly conduct;

• Landon Eugene Eskew, 21, Fort Morgan, charged with obstructing a peace officer (Class 2 misdemeanor);

• Sean L. Nider, 21, Windsor, charged with trespass and disorderly conduct;

• Shane Alan Walter, 22, Greeley, charged with obstructing a police officer;

• Terry Lee Washington Jr., 25, Fort Collins, charged with disobeying a public safety order (Class 3 misdemeanor).
