Nine people have been arrested by federal and local authorities following a two-month investigation into drug activity in northern Colorado, according to the Weld County district attorney’s office.

The arrests followed a joint operation by the Greeley Police Department and federal ATF agents.

Eight of the individuals were arrested on drug-related charges and one on a robbery charge.

Arrested for unlawful distribution of a a controlled substance were Greeley residents Alfredo Gonzales, 24; Andrea Madrid, 24; Orlando Martinez, 27; Brandon Ruiz, 28; and Angela Vasquez, 27.

Arrested for unlawful distribution of Schedule II narcotics were Amber Lujan, 29, of Greeley, and Aurelio Saucedo Jr., 49, of Sterling.

Clint Medina, 28, of Eaton was charged with aggravated robbery, and Aurelio Madrid, 38, of Eaton, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
