MILWAUKEE — Brewers pitcher Yovani Gallardo and clubhouse attendant Alex Sanchez were robbed at gunpoint early Friday.
“Just going out there, getting a bite to eat before heading home, trying to stay out of trouble, and unfortunately trouble finds us,” Gallardo said. “Nobody was seriously hurt and we’re all OK.”
WTMJ-AM said an armed man approached the two in a supermarket parking lot demanding money and jewelry. Sanchez was hit in the head but not seriously injured.
