A man killed early Friday when an SUV hit his scooter at Broadway and East Mississippi Avenue was identified today as Brian Hoyle.
Hoyle, 21, of Denver was heading south on Broadway at Mississippi about 12:50 a.m. Friday.
A northbound SUV driven by Sarah Trujillo, 23, turned left toward westbound Mississippi in front of the scooter, hitting the scooter and killing Hoyle, according to Denver police.
Hoyle was taken to Denver Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, the Denver coroner’s office said.
Trujillo is being held for investigation of vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident and driving under the influence.
