IRVINE, Calif. — The University of California, Irvine, has upheld its decision to suspend a campus Muslim group after some of its members disrupted a speech by the Israeli ambassador to the U.S., Michael Oren, at a campus event.
However, the university said Friday that it would lift the suspension of the Muslim Student Union on Dec. 31 instead of enforcing it for a full year.
