Colorado will receive $529,998 from the Department of Labor to make automation and technology upgrades within unemployment-insurance systems. The grant was part of $8 million issued Wednesday to 22 states.

The funding will be used to make a variety of automation upgrades to unemployment-insurance systems, including enhanced call-center and interactive voice-response-system technologies.
