A passing motorist probably rescued a woman in southeast Denver early Wednesday after a stranger used a hand-held stun gun to try to grab her off a sidewalk, Denver police said Thursday. The woman told police she was grabbed from behind and shocked as she was walking near East Florida Avenue and South Syracuse Street. The man ran to a small red four-door sedan and sped off after another car pulled over to help the woman.
