PUEBLO, Colo.—Southern Colorado finds itself with only one of nine voting representatives on the Colorado State University Board of Governors.
The Pueblo Chieftain reports that the board on Thursday appointed a Denver resident, Colorado chief operating officer Don Elliman of Denver, to replace board member and former state Rep. Tom Farley of Pueblo, who passed away in August.
In April, Alamosa’s Marguerite Salazar resigned to become regional director of the Department of Health and Human Services. She was replaced by Denver resident Dorothy Horrell.
Southern Colorado’s remaining representative is Pueblo businessman Boney Cosyleon.
CSU has campuses in Pueblo and Fort Collins.
