A man with an unusual cap is being sought by the FBI for a string of bank robberies this week.
The so-called Flatbill Bandit said he had a gun and demanded money Tuesday from the Chase Bank at 4580 W. 121st Ave. in Broomfield.
The FBI said he also is suspected of robbing two banks Monday: a Wells Fargo at 10103 W. Belleview Ave. in Littleton and a Chase Bank at 1275 E. Magnolia Ave. in Fort Collins.
He is described as white, in his mid-20s and about 5 feet 5 inches tall, with dark hair and a “scruffy” beard, according to the FBI.
