SANTA FE, N.M.—The New Mexico Tourism Department says the Four Corners Monument has a new plaza and interpretive panels for visitors.
The monument marks where New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Utah meet.
A dedication of the new plaza is scheduled for Friday, and Randy Bloom of the National Society of Professional Surveyors will speak about the accuracy of the monument’s location. The landmark was closed temporarily during construction of the new plaza.
The Navajo Nation Parks and Recreation Department maintains the monument.
