The Avalanche on Wednesday released its 56-player training camp roster before camp begins Saturday at South Suburban Family Sports Center in Centennial. The roster includes 31 forwards, 18 defensemen and seven goaltenders.
The Avs will gather a full squad Saturday and Sunday for practices from 9 a.m. to noon. Both are open to the public.
The team then will hold its annual preseason intrasquad Burgundy and White Game on Monday at 1stBank Center in Broomfield. The Avs open an exhibition schedule on Tuesday at St. Louis against the Blues.
