The Disney movie “Secretariat” is expected to be a horsy hit when it opens wide on Oct. 8.
The story of the horse that won the Triple Crown in 1973 stars Diane Lane, who portrays the horse’s owner Penny Chenery — who lives in Boulder.
Chenery has attended two private screening of the movie — one in Boulder and last Sunday night at the Landmark with friends and family. “Entertainment Tonight” sent out a crew to catch Chenery at the Sunday night show.
