Boulder police are trying to determine whether a late night prowler in the northwest part of the city is the same man who entered homes in broad daylight on three other occasions.
The late night prowler has been stalking the Dakota Ridge and Northbriar Estates neighborhoods between 10:45 p.m. and 5 a.m., according to the Boulder Police Department.
The suspect in the late-night incidents is described as a white male, 19 to 22 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall. He is described as being thin with light-colored hair, wearing khaki shorts and a short sleeve T-shirt.
Investigators are trying to determine if this is the same individual involved in five similar incidents in neighborhoods east of Broadway, west of Folsom Street, south of Norwood Avenue and north of Spruce street. In three of those cases, the prowler entered homes when the residents were inside.
The suspect in those five incidents is described as being in his 20s, 6 feet 3 inches tall. He is also described as slender, wearing khaki shorts and a short-sleeved shirt.
Anyone with information about the crimes is asked to call Detective Tom Dowd at 303-441-3385. People with tips can also call Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
