La Conquistadora regalia

The Museum of Spanish Colonial Art in Santa Fe presents an exhibition of 400 years of the gowns, capes, jewelry and crowns of the religious icon La Conquistadora. The exhibit opens today and runs through Dec. 31. Admission is $6.

Estes Park educational programs

The Baldpate Inn and Estes Park Archives present a collaborative program every Wednesday evening through the end of September. Part natural history, part show and tell, the programs cover topics as diverse as archaeology and hummingbirds. Events are free and start at 7. or 970-586-5397

Glenwood arts

The Fall Art Festival will take place Wednesday-Sept. 26 at the Ramada Inn in Glenwood Springs. This exhibition features 325 artists from several states and is the largest nonjuried fine art show in Colorado. The show runs 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and until 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.

Mining-history workshop

The Western Museum of Mining and Industry in Colorado Springs presents the Gold Prospectors of Colorado, which will discuss the history of mining claims and demonstrate how claims are staked 10-11:30 a.m. Sept. 25. Workshop admission is $10 and includes museum entry.
