Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Bart Starr has donated three of his NFL championship rings to the Packers Hall of Fame. The rings are from the 1961, 1965 and 1966 seasons. The items were immediately displayed Saturday. Starr’s wife, Cherry Starr, donated a necklace with charms from all five of Bart’s championships, which were the 1961, ’62, ’65, ’66 and ’67 seasons. Players received a watch for the 1962 NFL title, and that will be donated later. The 76-year-old Starr says the rings were hanging in the family’s study, and his wife felt they could be put to better use.
