My favorite subject: Biology.

My favorite athlete: Troy Tulowitzki.

My favorite teams: Rockies, Nuggets and Broncos.

What I listen to: Country.

The best things on my training table: Steak and mashed potatoes.

Pregame ritual: I warm up the same way for softball and wear the same wristbands and socks.

Time management tip: I get home from practice — I have to drive 30 miles — have supper, relax and then get right on homework. And I use free time at school to try to get caught up on homework so I don’t have a lot to do at home.

Planned career: Nursing.

I would love to visit: Ireland.

What high school sports mean to me: They’ve always been the most important thing in my life. Growing up in a small community, you play them all, and if you don’t you’re kind of an outcast. They also prepare you for college and everything in the future. You get a work ethic. When your boss is telling you to do something, it’s the same thing.
