The Boulder office of Sweden-based cellphone maker Ericsson will eliminate 150 positions from its 180-employee office, the Daily Camera reported Tuesday.
Company officials told the staff about the reductions Tuesday morning, saying the consolidation was for budget and efficiency reasons.
The positions will be eliminated between November and March. Affected employees may be transferred to other positions within the company, which employs 86,000 worldwide, Ericsson spokesman Jimmy Duval said.
