A toddler was found face down in a partially filled bathtub Monday in a Fort Lupton home.
The incident happened at about 9 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of Second Street, according to a Weld County Sheriff’s Office media release.
The boy’s mother called 911 to report the baby was found face down in a partially filled bath tub and was not breathing.
Emergency personnel resuscitated the 13-month-old boy and he was flown by helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Aurora.
Details on the child’s condition were not available.
An investigation by the Weld County Sheriff’s Office into the incident is ongoing.
