Data-center owner CoreSite Realty Corp. made its debut as a public stock Thursday, joining a select group of specialty real-estate investment trusts in a segment that has generated strong trading gains over the past two years.
CoreSite, a Denver-based REIT that owns, operates and develops data centers, priced 16.9 million shares at $16 apiece. The shares closed their first day at $16.01 after hitting an intraday high of $16.54.
