Coloradans with old or unneeded prescription drugs can dispose of them safely Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., during the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s first “Take Back Day.”

There are more than 4,000 drop-off locations nationwide, including many local law enforcement offices in the metro area.

Drugs can be dropped off at seven Denver police stations: 1311 W. 46th Ave., 1566 Washington St., 1331 Cherokee St., 3921 Holly St., 2100 Clay St., 1685 Peoria St., and 1625 S. University Blvd.
