Three travel and consumer groups on Thursday submitted petitions bearing the names of more than 50,000 people urging the Department of Transportation to require airlines to share all ancillary-fee information when travel is booked.
The effort to collect support for airline fee transparency was started Sept. 7 at madas- . Backers are the Consumer Travel Alliance, Business Travel Coalition and American Society of Travel Agents.
