Terrelle Pryor, Ohio State: He could not have had a more complete day — 20-of-26 passes for 224 yards and four TDs, seven carries for 104 yards and a TD and also catching a 20-yard scoring pass.
Owen Marecic, Stanford: The fullback/linebacker, right, scored on both sides, just 13 seconds apart, first on a 1-yard run, then on returning a pick 20 yards on the ensuing play to beat Notre Dame.
Mark Ingram, Alabama: He ran for 157 yards and scored on a 1-yard run with 3:18 left to lead the No. 1 Crimson Tide back from a 13-point second-half deficit to beat No. 10 Arkansas 24-20.
Ryan Mallett, Arkansas: He had a better outing last season against Alabama, though the outcome was the same. He was 25-of-38 passes for 357 yards, but he also threw three costly interceptions.
Denard Robinson, Michigan: A twisted knee sidelined him early, but he had 129 yards and two touchdowns on five carries in a 65-21 win over Bowling Green.
