In training camp, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant refused to perform a typical rookie hazing activity and carry veteran receiver Roy Williams’ pads after practice.
Williams let the rookie off the hook at the time, saying Bryant could make it up by taking the offense out to dinner.
Monday was the night.
Bryant took his fellow offensive players — and Williams just happened to invite the rest of the team — to Pappas Bros. Steakhouse — where a 12-ounce filet mignon costs $40 and the 90-page winebook included a bottle of Chateau Latour for $9,000.
The final bill? $54,896.
“They got the young fella,” Bryant’s adviser, David Wells, told .
