Some buildings in Fort Collins were evacuated this afternoon after a gas line break.

The Poudre Fire Authority closed the intersection of Mulberry Street and Meldrum Street and cleared buildings in a 200 foot radius.

The 4-inch to 6-inch natural gas line was cut during a construction project, the fire department said in a news release. Repairs are expected to take about four hours.
