The Rockies honored late president Keli McGregor in a moving pregame ceremony. A permanent memorial with his initials KSM was unveiled down the right-field line below the out-of-town scoreboard. Aaron Cook, Troy Tulowitzki, Ryan Spilborghs and Todd Helton joined McGregor’s family members at home plate during the dedication.
Francis struggles.
Jeff Francis’ last three starts have been forgettable. The left-hander, who was tagged for five runs Tuesday, has allowed 10 runs and four home runs in his last 9 2/3 innings.
