KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Justin Morneau, who has been out since July 7 because of a concussion, will work out with the Minnesota Twins today at Target Field.

Manager Ron Gardenhire didn’t give any indication of the first baseman’s status for the postseason, asking everyone to see how the workout goes.

• Carlos Beltran said he will miss the rest of the New York Mets’ season after an MRI showed he has inflammation in his surgically repaired right knee.

• Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Feller, 91, is resting comfortably at the Cleveland Clinic after getting a pacemaker.
