The Rockies’ collapse has disguised Huston Street’s injury. The closer won’t pitch again this season after dealing with right oblique pain over the last month. He will undergo an MRI on Monday. He finishes with 20 saves and five blown opportunities.

The Rockies are looking at a variety of second base candidates — Chris Nelson went 0-for-3 on Thursday — knowing they could use multiple players to fill the position next season. Eric Young Jr., Jonathan Herrera and Clint Barmes have also been used.

Samuel Deduno and Edgmer Escalona impressed manager Jim Tracy with their relief work. Escalona worked two scoreless innings, and Deduno was unblemished in one inning in his first appearance since Sept. 8.
