WINDSOR — Windsor town officials have approved an application for oil and gas drilling near a subdivision.
Synergy Resources Corp. wants to drill six wells in the northern Colorado community near the Peakview Estates subdivision. But the approval comes with conditions, including requirements for cleanup and lighting.
The company has also agreed to increase the number and height of trees to buffer residents’ view.
The Coloradoan in Fort Collins reports the drilling is set to start later this fall. Synergy has said the drilling will take 30 to 35 days.
