A 60-year-old man was injured when he crashed while paragliding near Carbondale, according to the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office.
The man landed between Thomas and Dinkle lakes near Mount Sopris. He suffered back and leg injuries.
At 2:08 p.m., Flight For Life Summit County was able to reach the unidentified man. He was flown to St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver.
