DENVER—Nicholas Hotson scored three goals and Dustin Moore had a goal and two assists to lead Lethbridge to a 5-2 exhibition win over Denver on Sunday in men’s college hockey.

Hotson’s hat trick was the difference. His first goal gave the Pronghorns a 2-1 lead. His last two helped Lethbridge pull away after the Pioneers closed within 3-2 in the second period.

Lethbridge goalie Reese St. Goddard made 34 saves.

Tyler Melancon added a goal and an assist for the Pronghorns.

Beau Bennett had a goal and Anthony Maiani scored for the second straight game for Denver, which got 17 saves from goalie Sam Brittain.
