The old Argonaut liquor store on East Colfax Avenue is expected to be demolished Wednesday.
The owners plan to build an 800-square-foot store that could be a hot-dog restaurant or a coffee shop, said Mark Fetter, Argonaut’s general manager. The rest of the property, just east of downtown, will become a parking lot.
Argonaut left the 20,000- square-foot store in November 2006 to move into a new store nearby twice that size.
