GREELEY — Weld County has become more Republican. According to voter-registration numbers released by the Weld Clerk and Recorder’s Office after the deadline to register to vote in November passed last week, the number of registered Republicans rose from 45,287 in 2008 to 45,559. Registered Democrats fell from 31,031 in 2008 to 28,711 this year, a 7.5 percent decrease. Unaffiliated voters also dropped from 39,317 two years ago to 38,995.
