The Berthoud board of trustees has approved a 190-acre master-planned, mixed-use community at the intersection of U.S. 287 and County Road 17 in Larimer County.
Plans for PrairieStar include retail space; schools; an employment center; professional office space; a research-and development facility; parks and open space; and 854 residential units, including single- family homes, townhomes, senior apartments and equestrian estates.
