University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business announced it will change the name of its School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management to the Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality Management and will hold an official naming event Tuesday at the school’s event facilities. Betty Knoebel, widow of Denver food-services pioneer Ferdinand “Fritz” Knoebel, donated $17.5 million to the university.
Colorado Department of Agriculture announced that 17 grants totaling more than $750,000 have been awarded through the Specialty Crops Program. Funds are received by the CDA from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service initiatives aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of Colorado’s fruit, vegetable and green industries.

Silk Soymilk announced a website — — that allows consumers to trace the origin of the soybeans in each carton of Silk down to the county level. The site is intended to provide consumers with additional information about where their Silk soy milk comes from and how it is made.
