
More than 40 local crafters who make everything from fiber arts to metal works will exhibit their creations Friday through Oct. 30 at the Event Space at 1490 Delgany St., across the street from the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver. The opening reception of the Art by Craft Exhibition presented by Denver Handmade Alliance is from 7-10 p.m. Friday. Entertainment will include local music from Crows, Vultures, Bulls, interactive “tagging” with the Ladies Fancywork Society and craft-based activities in the Idea Box. On closing day there will be an Art by Craft Market at MCA Denver, 1485 Delgany St. The event, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., is free and open to the public as part of the museum’s free day. More at .
