Trade in your old jeans and get a discount on some new ones at Gap stores through Wednesday as part of Gap and Cotton Inc.’s Recycle your Blues drive. People who drop off jeans will get a 30 percent discount on new 1969 jeans and the donated denim will be converted into denim insulation by Bonded Logic. The insulation will in turn be given to communities in need. During the first denim drive, in March, more than 270,000 pairs of jeans were donated at more than 1,000 participating Gap stores and the material served as insulation for 500 homes in underserved communities and for special projects, including Hurricane Katrina rebuilding efforts.
