Getting your player ready...

When Andrew Preston takes the field Saturday against Air Force, local fans of the former Arapahoe High star will have to look deeper in the defense. After playing in 35 games the past three seasons at linebacker, Preston moved to safety this season. Preston, who had 18 tackles against the Falcons in the 2008 game, is tied for second on the team with 24 tackles. He joins former Eaglecrest High star B.J. Williams in the SDSU defense. Williams, who has started 30 games as a four- year starter at end, is the anchor on the defensive line. Former Mullen offensive linemen Alec Johnson and Jimmy Miller, both sophomores, are on the SDSU roster, and Johnson has become a regular starter at guard this season.
