Haunted Hayrides.
Miller Farm in Platteville offers Haunted Hayrides through Oct. 31. Visitors begin by stopping by the mine to hear the tale of the old miner before leaving on a hayride through the ghostly field. A tour guide will then lead the group through the haunted corn maze. Rides take place 6:30-10 p.m. every day; reservations are required Monday-Wednesday. Tickets are $7 per person. or 970-785-6133
Snowshoe tours.
The Winter Park-Fraser Valley Chamber offers free snowshoe tours in Hideaway Park every Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. Stop by the visitor center at 78841 U.S. 40 to check for availability. 970-726-4118
