A van driver was killed in a collision with a semi-tractor truck in Weld County Thursday night.
The crash happened at the intersection of U.S. 85 and Weld County Road 100 north of Nunn about 7:15 p.m., said Trooper Heather Cobler, State Patrol spokeswoman.
The driver of the passenger van was thrown out in the collision and died at the scene, she said.
The driver’s name has not been released pending notification of family. The truck driver was uninjured.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, she said.
