AURORA, Colo.—Colorado Democrats have been on their toes lately as embattled incumbents face testy re-election bids. Now Democrats in the state legislature are asking Democrats to dance more literally.
Sen. Mark Udall joins a collection of Democratic state senators at a dance hall in Aurora Tuesday night to raise money for the Colorado Democratic Senate Campaign Fund. Also headed to the dance party are Democratic Rep. Ed Perlmutter and Democratic attorney general candidate Stan Garnett. Democrats are hoping several hundred show up for “Dancing with the Dems” line dancing and to raise money for state legislative candidates.
Tickets are $50.
