One man is in custody after Denver police responded to a west Denver neighborhood on reports of shots being fired into parked cars.
The initial report to police came about 12:30 p.m.
When police arrived in the 4300 block of West Custer Place they found a number of cars with their windows shot out, said police spokesman John White.
Police surrounded a home in the block and ordered the suspect out.
White said the suspect, a 40-year-old man, came out with three other individuals. The suspect was arrested
Originally, police thought that he used a BB gun or a pellet gun to shoot out the windows. But further investigation revealed a weapon was used, said White.
White said the man is being held for investigation of criminal mischief.
