A 27-year-old woman who was behind the wheel of a car that struck and killed an 85-year-old pedestrian in Gunbarrel in June was charged Tuesday with careless driving resulting in death.
The Colorado State Patrol reported at the time of the accident that Kathryn Wulliman of Westminster apparently was distracted as she was manually inputting data into a GPS device. Her car struck Dorothy Hoffins of Longmont, who was crossing Lookout Road at its intersection with 79th Street about 3:40 p.m. June 2, according to the Colorado State Patrol. Daily Camera
