DENVER—New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg will visit a Denver school and deliver the keynote speech at a fundraiser for a scholarship foundation.

Bloomberg will be with Denver Public Schools Superintendent Tom Boasberg when he visits Bruce Randolph 6-12 School Thursday afternoon.

Bloomberg will later speak at the Hyatt Regency at the Colorado Convention Center for a fundraising dinner. The proceeds from the event will go to the Denver Scholarship Foundation, which pays for college for DPS students.

The Scholarship Foundation has provided more than 1,500 scholarships.

Last year’s dinner raised $1.4 million.
