Kodiak Oil & Gas Corp., a Denver-based oil-and-gas exploration-and-production company, has entered into a definitive purchase-and-sale agreement with a private company to acquire a Bakken/Three Forks Williston Basin leasehold and producing properties in McKenzie County, N.D. Total consideration for the transaction includes $99 million in cash and issuance of 2.75 million shares of common stock.
